Every figure below is read from the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission's own tariff orders, and each card names the order, the table and the page it came from. Nothing here is typed in by hand: these are the same numbers the checker uses to price a bill, read from the same file, so a rate published here cannot disagree with the rate you are charged against.
Where a figure has never been compared with a real bill, it says so. The rates for April to June 2025 were transcribed from an order and were wrong on every figure, and a correct bill priced against them would have been called wrong.
A household's first hundred units are charged at 3.96 under the card in force today. That figure has changed in each of the last four tariff periods, and the slab it sits in has moved too.
So a rate on its own is not an answer. A bill checked against a card that has since been replaced comes out wrong in a way nobody can see: the arithmetic is clean, the total is definite, and the year is wrong. Every card here says which period it covers and which order it came from, and the older ones are kept rather than deleted, because somebody checking a bill from 2023 needs the card that was in force in 2023.
