Shop and office rates, LT-II

What MSEDCL charges a shop, an office or commercial premises. Which row applies depends on your sanctioned load, and one detail on this page matters more than it looks: at 20 kW and above the energy and wheeling are billed per kVAh, and below 20 kW per unit. Those are different quantities, so the rates above and below that line are not comparable figures.

What has actually been seen on a real bill

The 0 to 20 kW row is the proven one, in both the July 2025 and the April 2026 versions. Thirty-one bills from four Pune connections, a 5 kW office, a 3 kW hall and a single-phase shop among them, reproduce to the paisa against it. Two April bills are set aside rather than failed: a billing period that straddles 1 April is charged as a blend of two versions, so it cannot test either one.

Everything above 20 kW is transcription. Those rates were read out of the order and no bill has been seen against them, which is what the mark beside each one says. One exception is worth naming: the workshop and factory band above 20 kW was checked against a published sample bill and its figures hold.

Confidence in the July 2025 table is higher than the marks alone suggest, because every residential figure printed in that same table matches what 44 real household bills were independently found to charge. That is good reason to trust it, and no bill has confirmed it.
